Unwell is the ambient/drone/experimental project of Daniel Holideigh, based in Phoenix, Arizona. It was initially started as an outlet for miscellaneous musical experiments, but since releasing the album Selected Drones in late 2013, he has released a consistent sequence of albums and EPs in a similar style. His sound often features dense, droning soundscapes, and is heavy on improvisation. Some artists he has cited as influences are Alva Noto, Brian Eno, Loscil, and Swans.
