Chic Gamine, a vocal supergroup from Winnipeg’s French community, has been singing together since 1999. This self-proclaimed un-choir, blends bewitching melodies and harmonies with pulsing instrumental and vocal percussion, bringing the power of the voice to the forefront. Chic Gamine travels from Brazilian Samba, to Southern Soul, and home to French-Canadian folk, showcasing original compositions along the way. Compelling and soulful, Chic Gamine’s songstresses create a spicy, border-blending journey of sound.
