Medrow was a medieval folk band which was formed in Butzbach, Germany in 1991 by Daniel P., Markus P., Sonja S. and Martin B.. In 1995 the band was joined by the sound and light technicians Marc W. and Gregor S. and in 1996 the bass player Heiko "Hank" S. joined Medrow and completed their sound.
With Martin leaving the band in 1997, the musical arrangement of Medrow changes too towards a more melodic and dynamic arrangements. In 1999 Medrow is joined by the percussionist Michael "Andu" A., while original violin player Sonja leaves the band and is followed by Bozena "Bo“ G.
