Ryan (Lucas Grabeel) and Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) are two teens who attend East High school. Their lives revolve around the performing arts. They're considered the top theatrical talents at school. Ever since they were young, they've stared in musicals. But, their reign is threatened when Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) decide to sign up. Determined to take the lead once more, Ryan and Sharpay go to desperate lengths to make sure that they are the one's in the spot light.
