Best Coast is Bethany Cosentino and friends, a surf pop/rock band from California. Wavves is Nathan Williams and friends, a pop punk/noise band also from California. Nathan and Bethany date and recorded the holiday song "Got Something For You" for a Target Compilation in 2010. Best Coast is also featured on the Wavves track "Nodding Off" from the Life Sux EP.
