Alt country/folk-rock singer songwriter Lance and his band are from Leigh On Sea near Southend, Essex.
Influenced in the main by Neil Young, Dylan, Tom Waits, the Stones, Teenage Fanclub, Big Star, The Lemonheads, Pavement, Palace, Elliott Smith, Simon & Garfunkel, Eels, Elvis Costello...

Lance was previously the frontman with The ProTeens, Regentone/Regency Green and The Adjustment, but has been plying his trade as Cusack for a number of years.
Lance also is one half of garage-rock two-man power-trio Son Of Buff.
