The Braves were an indie rock band from Rockford, IL active in the early 2000s. Similar in style to R.E.M., Sebadoh, Guided By Voices, Yo La Tengo, and The Pernice Brothers. The Braves featured members of other notable Rockford bands Gods Reflex and The Evergreen Trio
