The band defined its sound at the beginning of 2002 when Oliver Sampson joined Martina Braig, Matthas Lang, and Yann Zimmerman. wooDLawn has played over 200 shows in well-known venues in Berlin, Hamburg, Nuernberg, Munich, Vienna, and many more. Furthermore they've played open-air festivals like Leipzig's Wave Gothik Treffen, Castle Rock in Mülheim an der Ruhr, and Herbstnächte on Burg Rabenstein and others.
