Sopha
SOPHA is an 11-strong collective from Antwerp combining funk, jazz and hip hop, creamed with a zest of afrobeat every now and then. Their main influences are bands such as Young Blood Brassband, The Roots, James Brown, Herbie Hancock and Fela Kuti. Together with producer Stoffel Verlackt (El tattoo del Tigre, Sukilove, Flowers for Breakfast) they produced their debut album "Before We go Bald" in 2009.
