From humble beginnings in a dilapidated home in southeast Portland, Outpost is forging a new direction for reggae music in the Northwest. This independent five-member band, is pushing musical boundaries by blending the dancing grooves of reggae, ska and funk with the fire of underground hip hop. Outpost is dedicated to producing upbeat music with a message of pure positivity. Since 2006, Outpost has been producing music that's heated up dance floors all the way down the West Coast. Their energetic live performances can be described as nothing less than a smile induced dance party.
