Someone said that nothing is created with an empty mind. Himalayha music assumes this way like a bastard son between the Zbigniew Preisner erudite and cinematic sound, with Fennesz and Alva Noto experimental music, adding the melancholy of composers like Erik Satie and Debussy.

Blending piano with chords instruments, some minimalist electronic and field recordings, this project uses sounds to tell various stories, building this way a marked cinematic sound, with shapes of an autumn atmosphere, very nostalgic and melancholic. It is music about persons, livings; it is a travel around memory, a soundtrack to be accompanied by imagination.

Himalayha is the musical alter-ego of the portuguese graphic artist Hélder Costa.
