Lone Star
There are two bands with this name: (1) Heavy rock band Lone Star was formed in Cardiff, Wales, in 1975 by Paul 'Tonka' Chapman. Signed to CBS, the band's self-titled debut album charted at #47 in 1976. By the second album, Firing On All Six, vocalist Kenny Driscoll had been replaced by John Sloman. That album reached #36 in the UK charts. Lone Star split soon afterwards. Chapman joined UFO, Sloman Uriah Heep, and Dixie Lee Wild Horses. A previously unreleased third album, Riding High, was released in 2000.
