Keith Miller
There are at least two well known American guitarists with this name, (1) is a metal guitarist (2) is an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist. (1) Can be found at his website: http://www.km-guitarslinger.com/ and (2) can be found at his website: http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/KeithMiller2 The first has released a CD, "Chalk." It is the melodically shredded metal and rock CD from Keith Miller, which follows on the path laid out by his previous CD, "Groove Train". The nimble fingered guitarist seldom indulges to excess, but manages to offer plenty of thrills and chills on the ten instrumental cuts (plus one vocal track). Miller is a graduate from Musictech College of Music in Minneapolis, and is a member of PLEX'D a band that has received rave reviews in national magazines, as well as some label interest. If you enjoy chops-happy excursions, turn-n-burn fretting, fast electric guitar lines and slamming rhythms and smoldering riffs, look no further than Chalk - a gem of raw power.
The second has released the CD, "Be Thou My vision." Released In March of 2010, Fingerstyle guitarist, Keith Miller, released his second instrumental CD project, Be Thou My Vision. The CD was recorded and produced by seasoned session bassist and President of the Nashville Musician's Union, Dave Pomeroy, at his studio in Nashville, TN. Be Thou My Vision features ten timeless hymns and classical arrangements that typify the soft and persuasive voice of acoustic guitar. Keith gets a measure of world class help with the project as Dave Pomeroy provides bass accompaniment on two of the tracks, and the title track features fiddle by Andy Leftwich, the mandolin/fiddle player for Ricky Skaggs' all-star band, Kentucky Thunder. From the opening track, Praise to the Lord, The Almighty, through the CD's completion, the listener is taken to a thoughtful and peace-filled place. Simply put, Be Thou My Vision delivers soothing music overflowing with meaning and heart. Read more on Last.fm.
