A debut album completed in 2007 - ‘Gilbert’ - received excellent reviews and extensive national radio play, gaining a release soon after on the John Peel-favoured Indie label, Shifty Disco Records. 2010 saw the completion of a new album, 'Wahoola!' and in 2014 Gilbert Linley completed a new album and released it under the name 'AztecCormorant'.
