Montreal based composer Patrick Lavoie is a classically trained cellist and multi‐instrumentalist. His musical landscape rose from a rich background in classical music that allowed him to become a musician and interpreter who poses a great deal of musical versatility, underpinned by his many years of experience working as a studio and stage musician. Patrick's musical landscapes are sensitive, deep‐rooted and honest. Alive with imagination and busy with ideas, the musical environments he creates are where styles and influences meet, tended by sensitive ear and allowed to fuse.
