What initially started off as a grunge two man side project in Lynwood, CA with Davey on drums and Bob on guitar, ultimately became a trio of two guitars (Davey and Bob) and a drummer (Hwon).
Influenced by early 90’s, 80’s Punk, New Wave, Modern Alternative Experimental, and J-Rock, Wakarimasen (pr. Wah-Kah-Ree-Mah-Sehn) has found its home in the sound of Post Punk Alternative Rock. Wakarimasen , Japanese for “I don’t understand/know” is constantly writing new material, full of overdriven guitars, upbeat drumming, and lots of energy thrown around.
