ABRAXASAXOPHONIC SMOOTH JAZZ VAGINA was recorded by Arrington de Dionyso (of Old Time Relijun, Malaikat dan Singa) in 2000 after returning home from a long tour with Old Time Relijun. During that tour, Arrington and Phil Elverum had joked continuously about the idea of taking signal from a radio station playing smooth jazz and using it as a backing track for performing noisy, abrasive squaking on saxophone and bass clarinet. Arrington accepted the challenge, and thus the album was made.

It was released in 2000 by NGWTT records.
