Ex Pistols
The Ex Pistols where formed in 1979 and were the first tribute to the Pistols after they split. They confused the public because they sounded like the Pistols and their album artwork looked like the album artwork of the Pistols. This led many people to believe that the Ex Pistols music was new or unreleased recordings.
