This is the side project of Gordon Bicknell, one of the founding members of cult UK doomsters Esoteric. A real must for fans of Skinny Puppy and Velvet Acid Christ. The work on this project started in the middle of 2006 and the first album has now been released on Aesthetic Death records. Lysergene has some new singles released on Area Recordings with future releases scheduled. Lysergene is releasing a four track EP with Phantom Hertz Records, entitled Low Voltage Volume 22 (June 2012).
