El Medico
"El Medico" CUBATON rapper Reynier Casanayor Grinan comes from Sierra Maestra where once, 50 years ago, the Cuban revolution found its origin. The 29 year old performer studied medicine at the University of Santiago de Cuba and established together with two study colleagues his first rap-band "Garganta de Fuego" in 1993. In 2002 he successfully finished his studies. He loves his profession as medical practitioner just as much as his music career. "El medico" writes his own songs and his extraordinary voice is responsible for his particular style of CUBATON.
