Dusty Blinds started off in 2003, when Gijs and Maaike met at a Women's Day radical cheerleading party. After discovering they shared more than the love for skirts and pompoms they decided to make music together. When Nora joined the band they quickly started to write songs, united by (90s) indie, stoner, soul and punk.
Over the years, Dusty Blinds have performed several times in Germany and France (Berlin, Paris) and played shows in all of Holland's Big Cities. They have toured France and Italy and even played a show in Wales.
