TURNIOKI, the unique and exceptional folk group! Music they play is a mixture of folk music of Polish highlanders and rock, pop, reggae, funky and jazz. Except violin most of traditional folk instruments have been replaced with modern ones. Thus, traditional folk bass was replaced with bass guitar, viola and second violin were replaced with guitar and synthesizer while pipe and "trąbita"(a type of Polish folk wind instrument) were replaced with flute and tenor saxophone. Eventually the core of the traditional folk group was preserved while the sound is very much contemporary.
