Alkahest
There are at least four artists with this name: 1) Alkahest is a a Brooklyn based metal band that combines elements of doom, sludge, stoner, ambient and psych into music that is something entirely unique. The band was formed in 2009 by guitarists Jon Powell & Nikhil Kamineni (Quiet Lights) with the intention of writing and performing music that is both crushing, hypnotizing, subtle and intricate all at the same time.
