Fader 743 is the alias of electronic artist Olivier Smythe, based in the circle of hell which Dante forgot - i.e. London. He was educated the expensive way - his parents had to bribe him to go to school because he preferred to mess about with musical instruments and silly hats. After moving around several deadbeat, hopeless, one-horse towns Smythe eventually decided that he hadn't found a place quite appalling, depressing and soul-crushing enough to truly inspire him, whereupon he moved to Bristol. However, that appeared to be too interesting, so Fader 743 was relocated to London.
