D A A R K O O B was formed during the summer of 2007 under the leadership of Homayoon Nasiri.The creators in this group have aimed at blending the rhythms of different regions of Iran and the rest of the world, by mixing and arranging regional musical attributes for other instruments into new forms, resulting in active, dynamic, exciting and at the same time, ornamental rhythms. Improvisation and fluidity are among major characteristics of Daarkoob's music which are shared among the variety of musical forms of our world.
