After winning the 1998 Dove Award for "Hard Music Album of the Year", the members of Massivivid (mv3k) decided that they should take a much needed retirement. They quickly hocked their Dove at a local pawn shop and set out for the hills of Malta. Back stateside, clamoring began for another mv3k album and subsequent tour. J. Weber (CEO of The VIVICorporation and creator of mv3k...as well as Ferocity the Snowman) culled the rank and file at VIVCO for people to take their place. Within six months a new band of misfits was assembled.
