Kevin Allred is a folk musician from Logan, Utah. His lyrics incorporate queer politics and personal struggles with love and life. Kevin's first album "Sick Today" (comparable to Ani Difranco's "Not So Soft") was more aggressive than his second album "Gasping For Breath" which incorporated a bit more instrumentation including violin and keyboards. Kevin now resides on the east coast focusing mostly on school, teaching and writing music from time to time. Though Kevin didn't release a lot of music his lyrics were progressive, political, personal and in a league all of their own bringing to the folk genre a refreshing and motivating style.
