AuburnBlack
Droney, loud, guitar driven harmonic doom music is the driving force behind this Oregon phenominon, Auburn. Brain child of long time local musician, Sean Lewis, the group formed in February, 2008 with fellow members Jesse Bearce and Yehuda McKay, and joined by Tyler Steele for a short, but effective turn.
Though it's members are strewn across the Oregon landscape from as far as Hillsboro down to Sheridan, the group considers itself to be birthed from the McMinnville/Yamhill County area.
Heavily influenced by grunge music, made popular in the area during the nineties, Sean and gang seek a direction that is true to the self, true to the music, and honest with the people they share with.
Their atmospheric, powerful performances and heavy vibes make Auburn's music a refuge in a community of thriving musical talent.
Currently, the group is working in the studio to complete a studio album titled Plague, following the release of a live album, that will be available for free download from the band's website, as well as other popular sites, as well as vinyl once the project is complete.
Once the Plague has been released to the masses, the band anticipates a new year of heavy performing in the local Portland/Salem/McMinnville scenes, and possible across state borders.
