Andrew Gordon

Andrew Gordon

There are, at least, two artists known as Andrew Gordon, both Scottish: 1) A songwriter. 2) A folk singer.

1) A Scottish songwriter, based in Portsmouth, UK. Born in a modern-day barn, out of sight & near some small animals - a desperation to learn the ways of the ivories manifested itself, in the mind of the child & in quick succession song-worthy events occurred. Out of those ashes came Andrew Gordon; a boy with no greater faith in life than in love. Love lost, love found & the love of cigarettes.

2) A Scottish folk singer, based in Edinburgh, specialising in traditional Scottish folk music & influenced by The Corries. His passionate vocals are accompanied by robust rhythms on both guitar & bodhran - he's, also, not frightened to knock out a few a cappella numbers. Andrew plays all over Scotland, plus Germany & Norway. Further info: http://andrewGordon.co.UK
