There are three bands/artists called Chet. Chet is a band based in British Columbia, Canada, and is currently signed to California indie label, Absolutely Kosher Records. Lead singer, Ryan Beattie, has been quietly making records on the island of Victoria off the coast of Vancouver, recording under the moniker Himalayan Bear and with the band Chet who he formed with his brother Patrick and his friends. Their most recent album release, "Chelsea Silver, Please Come Home", is Chet’s fourth album in seven years and was the first to receive any exposure and distribution outside of western Canada.
