He was born in 1969 (1348) in Tehran in an open-minded family. In 1986 (1365) he moved to Hamburg, Germany and stayed there until 1993, and then one year in England. He started music in 1989 (1368). It was in Hamburg at the age of 20 when he got his first bass guitar. Three weeks after his first experience with the instrument, he joined a high school band. Eventually, he gathered experience while playing and performing with local hard rock and heavy metal bands. In 1991, he co-founded the band Trial & Error along with Uli Schulz and Dirk Wolf on guitar and vocals and Karsten Nogel on drums.
