Arthur Hiller
Arthur Hiller,O.C.(born November 22, 1923 in Edmonton,Alberta) is an oscar- nominated Canadian film director.
Hiller began his show business career in television in the 1950's and was a successful television director before moing into films.He was the recipient of the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at The 2002 Academy Awards ceremony in recognition of his humanitarian, charitable and philanthropic efforts.
In 2002, he was honoured with a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto.In 2006, he was made an officer of the Order of Canada.
He and his wife Gwen have been married since 1948.
They have two children and two grandchildren(Kellen Carpenter and Sienna Hill).
