One Direction is a British-Irish boy-band consisting of Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne. These boys started out as solo acts in the x-factor. They did not make it, but since they were "Too talented to let go of" ( - Nicole Scherzinger) , they were put together as a band. Now, One Direction is the most popular band in the world. The music they play is very catchy pop tunes, along with slow, pop ballads, and songs featuring guitar and piano.
