Vursatyl
One third of the Portland, OR hip hop trio Lifesavas, Vursatyl is a rapper notable for his self deprecating wit and socially conscious lyricism. Taking inspiration from hip hop pioneers A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul, Vursatyl bucks the trend of commercially accessible gangsta rap in favor of more uplifting and enlightened content ranging from political commentary to messages of self awareness.
