There are at least two acts called Bikeshed

1. Bikeshed was the solo project of Alex Botten (of Thee Moths, Kosmische, Maps of Jupiter, Magnetic North Pole, ALEX CHARLES, Wülfstabber, Visible Universe, etc) which recorded in the early 90's. Lo-fi singer songwriter sounds were the order of the day.

2. Bikeshed blazed a trail through provincial Somerset in the late 1990s, playing gigs to a devoted fanbase of cider-drunk teeny-moshers in such illustrious venues as Glastonbury Leisure Centre, Wedmore Village Hall and someone's dad's barn. In-band apathy did for them in the end, when two of the members went to London to make scratchy noises in a new musical venture. Read more on Last.fm.
