OP8
OP8 is the musical collaboration of the solo artist Lisa Germano; Howe Gelb, the man behind the rock band Giant Sand; Joey Burns and John Convertino, who form the band Calexico together and have both been members of Giant Sand. The only album to be recorded by OP8 was the highly experimental Slush. It got high critical acclaim, although was never destined to be a commercial success.
