Evan Belize comes from the heart of the Caribbean. Born and raised in Belize, once the British Honduras, Evan has played with the best.known Belizean artists. As a young artist, he was taken under the wing of the great solo prformer Joseph Wagner. His first recording, on an album called Sunshine Wonder, won a Battle of the Bands conest in 1973. From there he went on to perform around the Caribbean in places like Panachel, recording advertisements, for products including Belize Belikan beer.
