There are multiple artists named The Body: 1) Based in Providence, Rhode Island, United States, The Body is a two-piece sludge metal band with heavy, low riffs, high-pitched screaming vocals, and occasional samples. The duo was formed in 1999 and has released three full-length albums, a collaboratiion with Braveyoung, an EP, splits with Get Killed and Whitehorse, a demo, and an anthology of their EPs, 7 inches, demos, etc. Their most recent releases include a full-length on Thrill Jockey Records in 2013, and a full-length collaboration with The Haxan Cloak on RVNG Intl in 2014.
