The name White has been used several times. White (1) was formed in 2006 by former Hang On the Box drummer Shenggy with multi-instrumentalist Shou Wang of Carsick Cars. White is one of the most talked about bands to emerge from the Beijing underground in recent years. Their self-titled album was produced by Blixa Bargeld at Einstürzende Neubauten studios in Berlin.
