Billie King is a Belgian band.

It’s been like forever since Tine Reymer – actress, singer and composer – brought down the house with Flowers For Breakfast. Together with Tom Pintens, friend and colleague, she ran the show. This rock band with its roots in Antwerp released 2 peculiar albums (Baron Samedi Conducts The Onion Philharmonique in 1996 and Homebound in 1998) and went on a small tour.

Flowers For Breakfast slowly smothered. The band members each went their own way and ended up joining several other bands and projects, such as Moondog Jr. (the later Zita Swoon), Think Of One, El Tattoo Del Tigre, Sukilove, 2000 Monkeys, Flat Earth Society and many more.

Meanwhile Reymer steadily built her acting career and played some remarkable parts in theater plays, several movies and TV series such as Recht Op recht, Shades, Sedes en Belli, Team Spirit, … However, she never really managed to say goodbye to the music industry. These last few years she glamorously ended up on stage with mambo bigband El Tattoo del Tigre and she made some records together with De Mens en 2000 Monkeys. But for [Billie King], she wrote some songs, made frantic efforts to find a female accompaniment and managed to trap her friend and ex-colleague Tom Pintens into producing her debut album.
