Hotel
There are at least four bands with this name. 1st. positive melancholic band from Berlin. 2nd. This project is a musical collective series of improvisation, founded by Douglas Dickel (input_output, Blanched), inspired by Joshua Homme’s Desert Sessions. Hotel began in 2006 at the Live Studio, in Porto Alegre, when Dickel brought together musicians from the local indie & post-rock scene. Songs are written & recorded “on the spot”, simultaneously, and in matters of four hours. Hotel is the introducing of people to each other.
