Arkeo
This band was started in 2003 as Finding Jeremiah in Stockton, CA (members: Jordan Shalm, Jordan Taulau, Dave Martinez, and Jake Palma).
Then, in September 2005, the band moved to Hawaii and was renamed Aces (members: Jordan Shalm, Jordan Taulau, Dave Childers, and Maile Clark). Then, in January 2006, Trey Bruffey and Justin Williams decided to join in on the fun, while Maile decided to leave.
Then on November 24th, 2006, we decided to change our name to ARKEO because there were so many other bands out there with the name Aces.
So... how did we get the name ARKEO? and what does it mean?
Well... We had a contest for people to submit new band names for us and Daniel Higashi provided us with the killer name ARKEO which is the greek verb meaning "to be content". It means to be content in whatever state you are. We wholeheartedly agree that that is the best possible way to life-fulfillment, so we chose ARKEO as our band name. Read more on Last.fm.
