Severine Devereaux (aka Georgina Staines) plays Hammond organs, sparkly guitars, xylophones, glockenspiels, pianos, drums, strange flutes, whatever; to create stranger music. Her music moves between the dark depths of madness and sensible pop-forms of harmony and orchestration; well executed because of classical training but approached with honesty and inhibition. The result is an eclectic sound that echoes with influences from early rock and roll, 60s pop, psych folk, Antipodean surf rock, flamenco, middle eastern pop and baroque.
