The Messengers
The Messengers can refer to more than one artist. 1) The Messengers were a 60s Soul/R&B vocal group signed to the Motown Label. They are best known for their hit "California Soul." 2) The Messengers were an American dream pop band formed in 1990. Members have included Jack Sobel, John Kolbek, Lauren Fay, James Fairey and Scott Patton. Sobel and Kolbek were the only constant members. Their final album, 2005's "Abundant Sunshine," included contributions from Mark Burgess & Kwasi Asante.
