Some say Duncan Edward Jones comes from Rochdale. Some people definitely say that. dncn actually comes from the planet precocious. Having purveyed tongue-in-cheek arrogance since 1980, dncn expanded onto the vinyl market, with releases such as the Crayons EP on Phush in 2003. Next, he put out some glitchy electronica via netlabels clevermusic and hippocamp. He also did a bit of remix work for that Elbow lot from Bury. In 2005 he ran away to join the German Neu-Trance scene.
