Phoenix Bodies began in the late summer of 2001 as a side project of sorts for Colin May with Thomas and Carl Byers. Derek Black & Ben were added as vocalists in 2003, and the split with Enkephalin + 2 other tracks were records. Adam replaced Ben in fall of 2003. Many tours happened and records were recorded. Adam and Carl Byers quit in May of 2005. Thomas moved from drums to vocals, and friends Brian and Kevin joined the band.
