Gitbox! is a Dutch indie rock / alt country band, led by singer Roeland van Niele. They once started on a porch: two guys singing and playing traditional music. But that´s some years ago now; the band no longer consists of two guys. People came and went. What remained was a steady flow of songs that are always, in some way, traditional. Between 1994 and now they´ve released four full length albums and a rare 10 inch dedicated to the town of Gary, Indiana. They´ve toured all over Europe and the US and have been invited to play on festivals such as Lowlands and Crossing Borders.
