INQUISICION tiene sus inicios en 1991, año en que, por intermedio de terceros, el guitarrista Manolo Schafler contacta al baterista Carlos Hernández para iniciar un proyecto de Heavy Metal, en un tiempo en que existían muy pocos exponentes en la escena chilena, o quizá ninguno de una tendencia más anglo.
