This former pro basketballer has been dropping mixtapes to anyone who'll listen since 1984. As chief music provider for local breakers DJ Soup grew to his stature in hip-hop developing production skills on crude sampling equipment in luxurious 8bit format. Founding the Fonke Knomaads, Soup became producer, DJ and part time MC for the far left field Sydney Hip-hop duo. They released a 5 track E.P. called "The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of..." on the now defunct label PoBoy records (label demise not attributed to the knomaads in any way shape or form!).
