Castle Bravo are an integral strand in the DNA of Portland, Maine's independent music scene. Though they existed for a brief period of time, their brand of caustic rock (of the indie/math/post prefix varieties) flirted with electronic flourishes, complex melodies, and drunken rants. Sometimes sounding like an Albini-fronted version of Rodan, they definitely mastered a sound that can only be described as "midwestern." Members have ties to Conifer, Ocean, and Adamo.
